Dr. Gloria Pinkney is the assistant pastor and co-founder of Joshua Christian Faith Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dr. Gloria and Frederic Pinkney are the proud parents of two loving and outstanding daughters, Lisa and Shayla who works fulltime in the ministry. They are the proud grandparents of one grandson Frederic B Pinkney, Jr.
Dr. Gloria attended Edward Waters College where she was awarded a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and was crowned Miss Edward Waters. She also received a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Supervision & Administration from Florida A&M University.
Dr. Gloria taught in the Duval County School System for 19 years before leaving in 1996 to work full time in the ministry with her husband. She was nominated as Teacher of the Year in 1996 and chosen as Who’s Who Among America Outstanding Teachers and Who’s Who Among Outstanding Women.
She is the host of the Christian Talk Show Gloria’s, which airs every Tuesday evening at 9:00 pm on cable Channel 7. She is also the founder of The Chosen Women Fellowship, a Christian women organization open to women from all walks of life.
She has been instrumental in helping to change the lives of thousands through the dynamic and energetic teaching of God’s Word. Dr. Gloria loves teaching the powerful Word of God. She is totally convinced that God watches over His Word to perform it. His Word will never return unto Him void. She teaches all His promises are yes and amen, and if you delight yourself in the Lord, He will give you the desires of your heart.
